THE COACH
He taught us to stay humble amidst victories… He is a teacher for many students… He is a friend to everyone… He is Sir Romyr Gimeno… The COACH of the DYCI Trojans.
He is indeed a good mentor, and without him the Trojans would not be complete.
HELEN OF TROY
Though she is not the official coach of the team, Ma’am Nica Bucad is very supportive to the DYCI Robotics Team. She is a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with and an amazing person just the way she is.
THE CAPTAIN
THE DEPUTY
Meet Mark Kenly Maglalang, Deputy Leader of the Trojans. Being a robotics and mechatronics enthusiast, Kenly performs all his duties as a Trojan with flying colors.
Yet he never relied in his own skills-having the faith that of these comes from the Lord.
THE CORVETTE
Meet Justin Paul Mendoza, the Trojan’s Corvette. In a war, a corvette, a lightly armed, fast ship used mostly for convoy escort is necessary. And as for the Trojans, that is Justin. He is reliable especially if the leaders of the team are not around. The only difference between him and a true corvette, aside from him not being a ship, is that he’s heavily armed... with skills.
THE LABYRINTH
Meet Jan Kenneth del Rosario, The Labyrinth. At first sight, you wouldn’t imagine that he knows tons of techniques and skills on the computer. If you’re “lost” in the labyrinth of cyberspace, he’s the guy you would want to be with.
THE WORDSMITH
Meet Mark Aldrin Abaigar, the Trojan Wordsmith. Yes, I’m the one responsible for all the things you would read in our blogs and posts. All I can say is I hope that you'll like our blog site! (…and just don’t mind the background of my picture...)
THE ARSENAL
Meet Donald Villaruel, the Trojan Arsenal. He’s called as such because of two things: first, he’s the silent type of person but whenever he cracks a joke it is surely funny. Second, most importantly, he could unleash his skills in robotics more than what’s expected from him.
THE ARCHER
Meet Joram Aaron Salvador, the Trojan Archer. Though quiet most of the time, Joram performs his duties well and always sets his goals to what’s important for the team-to exert our best. His arrows are faith and determination and his bow is courage.
